Details

The rectangular grill pan from Riess with a waffle bottom is made of enamel. The waffle bottom creates an air cushion between the food and the pan bottom, preventing the food from sticking. You can use the grill pan on the grill, in the oven, and for searing on the stove. However, please make sure to heat the grill pan with moderate settings.

The grill pan has no handles, but a rounded curved edge - called a flange. Since the entire grill pan heats up, you should always handle it with a pot holder or similar.

Enamel is a material made of iron that is fused with glass at high temperatures. It is heat-resistant up to 450° Celsius, cut- and scratch-resistant, and suitable for all types of stovetops. The enamel's non-porous and smooth surface makes it easy to clean and tasteless.
