Zalto Denk'Art Glass

Although the glassmakers work with only the simplest tools such as the glassblower's pipe, wooden molds, and templates, they achieve a precision that cannot be achieved even with the most modern technology.
The visionary and legendary wine expert Hans Denk was the inspiration for the Zalto Denk'Art collection. Denk'Art glasses from Zalto are the most successful handmade wine glasses of our time. This fascinating glass series has set standards in international drinking and dining culture. Denk'Art wine glasses put the wine in the spotlight. With their graceful design, incredible lightness, and minimalist design, these glasses respectfully step back and create a stage on which the wine can work and unfold. Denk'Art glasses have become cult objects in the wine world. The Zalto Denk'Art wine glass is celebrated in the Wall Street Journal as one of six products "that cannot be improved upon."
The Denk'Art collection includes glasses for Bordeaux, Burgundy, sweet wine, white wine, beer, water, as well as a digestif glass, a champagne glass, and a so-called universal glass. The glasses are available individually or in sets, each in a gift box. The series is rounded off by variously sized carafes and wine decanters that match the formal design.

Inspired by the inclination angle of our earth
A cosmic phenomenon inspired the designers of Zalto in the development of the Denk'Art series. The angles of 24°, 48° and 72° used correspond to the inclination angles of our earth.
If one believes the traditions, the ancient Romans had already recognized that these angles brought outstanding properties in the production of storage containers. Food not only stayed fresh longer, but also tasted much better.
