Global G-45 Ceramic Sharpening Rod 24 cm

Round sharpening rod with a blade length of 24 cm made from the ceramic material aluminum oxide. This material is particularly hard, and sharpening is quite easy. Between the blade and the stainless steel handle, there is a hand guard. If the sharpening rod breaks or becomes worn out over time, it can be reordered separately. These ceramic sharpening rods are exclusively manufactured by Kyocera for Global.

The GF Series is for fans of heavier knives. The hand-forged blades (F) have a wider knife back and also the sand-filled steel handle.
Blades of the GSF Series are up to 16 cm long, forged, and have a fine knife back with the proven, sand-filled steel handle.
