Güde Caminada Knives
All knives in the Güde Caminada series feature handles made from Grisons walnut wood. Individual knives such as the bread knife, ham knife, and Santoku knife are delivered in an elegant wooden sheath, including gift packaging. Each piece is made from chrome-vanadium-molybdenum steel, ice-hardened, and is, of course, stainless. The handles made from Grisons walnut wood are not waterproof and therefore not suitable for the dishwasher. The knives of the Güde Caminada special edition are hand-sharpened and have a double-sided edge.
The Güde Knife Series by Swiss Star Chef Andreas Caminada
The Caminada knives were created from a collaboration between Andreas Caminada and the Güde manufactory in Solingen. They represent a special edition at Güde. Each individual knife was perfectly tailored to his wishes and needs, thus reflecting the philosophy of Andreas Caminada. Andreas Caminada received three Michelin stars and 19 GaultMillau points at the age of 33. He cooks for guests from all over the world at Schloss Schauenstein in Fürstenau.
