KAI Pure Komachi Graters, Zesters, and Julienne Slicers
The KAI Pure Komachi Graters, Zesters, and Julienne Slicers are equipped with extremely durable and sharp blades made of SUS304 stainless steel. Each piece was awarded the "German Design Award Special" and the "reddot Design Award" in 2016.
The special feature of the KAI Pure Komachi series is the Japanese blade pattern. Each pattern is based on the classic kimono pattern, known as Edo-Komon. In combination with a special etching technique, less force is required when using the tools. Sensitive foods such as vegetables or spices are cut precisely and not crushed, allowing the aroma and flavor to fully develop. All Pure Komachi graters have a colored ergonomic handle made of elastomer and are dishwasher safe.
