Details
All-purpose knife with a 15 cm long blade. The cutting edge and core of the blade are made of hard VG MAX steel, clad with 32 layers of stainless Damascus steel. As a hybrid, this knife shape is perfectly suited for a wide variety of cutting tasks. The blade is double-edged and has a hardness of ±1 61 HRC.
Black pakkawood was chosen as the handle material for the oval-shaped handle. The wood is laminated, thus meeting all hygiene requirements. The full tang provides stability. The bolster and end cap (engraved with the Tim Mälzer kitchen bull) made of stainless steel provide a weight balance to the blade and secure the wood.
The knives of the Shun Premier Tim Mälzer Minamo series are designed for use by both right- & left-handed users and are safely nestled in a beautiful wooden box.
