Details

Your bread knife should not only be functional but also a true highlight in your kitchen. The Nesmuk Exklusiv C90 Damascus bread knife with a blade length of 27 cm and a handle made of bog oak combines masterful craftsmanship with elegant design.

The hand-forged blade consists of 210 layers of wild Damascus steel and achieves a hardness of about 62 HRC. This combination ensures exceptional sharpness and durability. The specially developed serrated edge allows for precise cutting of soft bread without excessive crumb formation, as well as effortless slicing through hard crusts and large loaves. Additionally, this edge is particularly gentle on the cutting surface and reduces scratches.

A special feature is the NPC coating (Nesmuk Protective Coating), developed in collaboration with the Fraunhofer Institute. This ultra-thin silicon layer protects the blade from corrosion and preserves the unique Damascus pattern. However, please note that the cutting edge is uncoated; therefore, it should be cleaned and dried after use to prevent rust formation.

The ergonomically shaped handle made of bog oak offers optimal control and safe handling. Bog oak comes from subfossil oak trunks that are up to 5,000 years old, found in bogs and waters. After extensive drying, the color of the wood varies between brownish and bluish black tones, making each knife a unique piece.

The Nesmuk Exklusiv C90 bread knife is delivered in a high-quality, matte black box, including a certificate of authenticity. A masterpiece for the highest demands in your kitchen.
