Details

If you are looking for a versatile, high-quality chef's knife, the Suncraft Senzo Retro chef's knife with a 20 cm blade may be just right for you. This knife combines traditional Japanese craftsmanship with modern materials and is ideal for everyday kitchen tasks.

The blade is made of Ginsan steel, also known as Silver 3 or Gin-3 steel. This high-quality Japanese stainless steel was specially developed for making kitchen knives and is characterized by a fine-grained structure. As a result, the blade can be sharpened to an extremely fine edge and offers excellent edge retention. In addition, Ginsan steel is rust-resistant and easy to maintain, making it particularly suitable for everyday use.

With a hardness of 59 to 61 HRC on the Rockwell scale, the blade provides an optimal balance between hardness and flexibility. This reduces the susceptibility to chipping or breaking and ensures a long service life for the knife. The double-ground edge allows for precise cuts and is suitable for both right- and left-handed users.

The handle of the knife is made of pakkawood and has a hexagonal shape that provides ergonomic handling. Pakkawood is known for its durability and moisture resistance, which makes the handle particularly robust. The full tang of the blade ensures balanced handling and additional stability.

Whether you are chopping vegetables, portioning meat, or filleting fish – the Suncraft Senzo Retro chef's knife is a reliable companion in your kitchen. Its combination of sharpness, durability, and easy maintenance makes it an ideal choice for both hobby cooks and professionals.
