The knife block is equipped with the innovative KIS technology, which includes integrated ceramic sharpening stones in the knife slots for knives with a smooth blade. Each time you pull a knife out or insert it, the blade is automatically sharpened. This keeps your knives permanently sharp without any extra effort on your part.
The set includes five high-quality knives: a paring and garnishing knife, a utility knife, a bread knife, a chef's knife and a carving knife. These knives are made from stainless special steel of the ZWILLING specially alloyed melt and feature ice-hardened FRIODUR blades that provide exceptional edge retention and corrosion resistance. The ergonomically shaped handles made of high-quality plastic fit comfortably in the hand and allow fatigue-free work, whether you are cutting vegetables, carving meat, or slicing bread.
The anthracite-coloured knife block made from FSC®-certified wood not only provides safe and stylish storage for your knives, but also contributes to sustainability. Please note that this self-sharpening knife block is suitable only for knives from the ZWILLING ALL*STAR series.
