Multi-layer material with copper core

All All-Clad products are manufactured in Cannonsburg using the patented roll bonding process. In this elaborate manufacturing process, different materials and alloys are combined to form an inseparable unit. The Copper Core series is structured as follows: an inner layer of 18/10 stainless steel is followed by two layers of aluminum & aluminum alloys, which in turn enclose a 1.8 mm thick core of pure copper. The outer skin is made of ferromagnetic stainless steel, polished to a high gloss. The copper core ensures an even and faster heating, up to the upper edge. The copper core is also fully visible on the outside through a milling process, making for an impressive visual appearance.
