Butch is your competent online store when it comes to professional cooking tools and high-quality kitchen accessories. But we are not only available as a webshop, but also "live". The Butch store in Düsseldorf-Pempelfort started small but fine in 2011 in the former premises of a restaurant. In recent years, we have continuously expanded our range of products. On 200 m² of sales and action space, we offer you a wide selection of pans, pots, knives, and everything you need for cooking. Our international premium brands include Boos Blocks, de Buyer, Güde, KAI, Microplane, Nesmuk – just to name a few. We critically examine things, we test and try out … Until frying pans or cooking knives make it into the range, we want to convince ourselves that they fit Butch. We only sell products that we stand behind with conviction. Whether it's a giant enamel pot from Riess or a handy roller sharpener from Horl – only when an item uncompromisingly meets our standards do we recommend it to you with a clear conscience. Cooking is work, of course, but it should also be a lot of fun. And good tools are definitely part of that.
From A like All-Clad to Z like Zalto
Many products that we offer in our online shop are also available in our physical store. The stock levels and delivery times displayed for the items refer to our shipping warehouse and do not necessarily reflect the availability of the products in the physical store. If you want to make sure that a specific model is in stock before your visit, just give us a call. Roughly estimated, we currently have about 1,000 items in stock in our physical store. If you're not quite sure which material, size, or design is right for you, you can compare them at your leisure. And if you need a recommendation, we're happy to help. Looking for a gift? Of course, we'll exchange the product if it doesn't meet the recipient's taste. Or you can opt for a gift voucher, so that the recipient can choose their own cookware or kitchen tools.
As a perfect complement to our "Kitchen Hardware," we also offer a special selection of various delicacies at our Düsseldorf store: spices, salt, pepper, vinegar, and oil.
Double E like Experience Shopping
Online shopping is cool, of course... You can shop at butch.de around the clock, seven days a week, regardless of your schedule or our store opening hours. However, shopping in our physical store gives you a real hands-on experience. There are products that need to be experienced and tried out, such as the Synchros knives from the Güde manufactory. They already stand out due to their unusual appearance, but the real "aha" moment comes when you hold them in your hand. These knives become one with your hand - with YOUR hand. Try it out, and you'll be amazed at what we mean.
Or lift a Zalto glass: You'll be surprised at how incredibly light these large glasses are. The glassblowers from the Austrian Waldviertel region create drinking glasses that are so delicate and beautiful that you'll be raving about them even without any contents. So go ahead, touch them, feel the shape, experience the material - you'll quickly know if you've found a new "must-have" for your home.

Regular customers of our store or fans of the newsletter section "Ask Frank" know the face of Butch: Frank Kappenstein, CEO and team leader. Through his professional experience in the hotel and gastronomy industry, Frank has gained a lot of know-how that benefits him - and you - today. He knows how to prepare food and knows what you need to make it "wow!" in the kitchen. And he has a passion for good tools in the kitchen. He is always happy to share his knowledge with you. You will receive competent advice here at Butch - on the brands we carry, the products, their handling and care. This of course also applies to the time after your purchase. Seasoning service for cast iron pans
We at Butch love cast iron pans. If you have decided to buy a new cast iron pan - congratulations! And the further good news: we will take care of the necessary seasoning for you! Seasoning cast iron pans requires some know-how, and the associated smoke and odor can often be annoying in your own home. Seasoning is necessary in any case, as the cast iron pan is delivered without any artificial coating. Its non-stick effect and frying properties result from the patina that forms during seasoning. And the better the patina, the better your cast iron pan. Long story short: come to the store, choose your cast iron pan, we will season it for you, you can watch, and at home you can start cooking right away! Coating service for pots and pans with non-stick coating
Renew instead of dispose, that's our motto when it comes to the non-stick coating of pans and pots. For this service, we work closely with ITN, because this company from Saarland specializes in the recoating of cookware. If the non-stick coating of your pan or pot has been damaged, bring it to our store. We'll take care of it. Detailed information about the procedure and prices can be found in the magazine article “The ITN Anti-Stick Recoating for Pans and Pots”.

You can find our store in Tußmannstraße 63 in Düsseldorf, district Pempelfort. There is usually a parking space near the store, which can be quite convenient. Because anyone who has ever had to walk several hundred meters to the parked car with a heavy item like a Skeppshult roaster under their arm knows how heavy seven kilos can be.
