
Apple Rhubarb Crumble from the Grill

Ingredients for Apple Rhubarb Crumble
- Rhubarb
- Sugar
- Apples
- Cinnamon
- Lemon juice
- Butter
- Flour
- Almond flour
- Cookies
Step 1: Prepare the Grill
Prepare the grill for indirect grilling at about 200 degrees Celsius.
Step 2: Prepare Rhubarb & Apples
Cut the rhubarb into thin strips and cook for about 5 minutes, adding 2 tablespoons of sugar to the boiling water. After draining, let the rhubarb cool down. Then peel the apples, remove the core, and cut into small cubes. The apple, of course, not the core ;-) Put the apple pieces in a bowl and add cinnamon, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and lemon juice. Now just stir and cover, then place in the refrigerator.
Step 3: Prepare Crumble aka. Streusel
Put cookies in a bowl and crumble them thoroughly. Then add flour, almond flour, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and butter, and mix everything with your fingers into a crumble dough.
Step 4: Assemble Apple Rhubarb Crumble
Prepare 4 small baking dishes and first place the apples and then the rhubarb in them. Now simply spread the crumble over it, and everything is ready for the grill.
Step 5: Grill Apple Rhubarb Crumble
Now just place the baking dishes on the grill and grill indirectly at 200 degrees Celsius for 60 minutes. Homemade whipped cream goes perfectly with it.
