Details

The KAI chopping block is made entirely of oak end grain wood. When cutting on end grain, you cut into the fibers rather than across them as with long grain. This allows the board to regenerate from cuts with proper care and not excessive force. Therefore, chopping blocks are always less sensitive to cuts than regular cutting boards and are also suitable for chopping. Of course, the board is also excellent for regular cutting, especially with very sharp knives.

The KAI chopping block is made from medium-European oak wood. The cutting surface is 39 x 26.2 cm and the board is 5 cm thick. If there are too many deep cuts, the board can be taken to a carpenter and sanded down. Four non-slip rubber feet ensure a secure stand and safe working.
