Extreme sharpness through photo-etched blades
The black appearance of the Microplane Black Sheep series is due to a PVD coating, which not only provides a cool look but also offers high scratch resistance. In addition, these graters excel in functionality: The razor-sharp, photo-etched blades finely cut every grating material instead of crushing it like cheap products do. This preserves the texture of the food, and the aroma of the grated dishes is fully enhanced. The Black Sheep series includes five different blade variants: very coarse, coarse, fine, a two-way grater, and a zester grater. The wide grating surfaces and extremely sharp blades allow for very energy-saving work. The non-slip rubber foot ensures the necessary stability.
Easy cleaning
Cleaning the Microplane Black Sheep graters is very simple: They are cleaned under running water with a little dish soap. If the grater ever ends up in the dishwasher, it's not a problem. However, the less frequently this happens, the better for the grater. The delivery includes a reusable protective cover that allows for safe storage.
