The "Isen" collection by the brand Peugeot offers spice mills for a variety of requirements: classic for salt & pepper, sophisticated for long pepper, compact for nutmeg, and NEW - for flaxseed. The salt, pepper, and nutmeg mills are operated with a crank. These hand crank mills remind us of the good old days, but their design is modern and stylish. Beech wood in natural or matte black is combined with stainless steel, creating a very chic look.
The grinding mechanism of the "Isen" flaxseed mill and long pepper mill is moved with the help of a large wing screw. "Isen" is Peugeot's first flaxseed mill. This powerful mill has a mechanism specifically designed for grinding or crushing flaxseed. Flaxseed is a true superfood in health-conscious cooking. However, it should be crushed before consumption to make the valuable nutrients digestible, as the shell is almost indigestible. It is best to grind the flaxseed shortly before consumption - with the "Isen" flaxseed mill. Another advantage: the ceramic grinding mechanism can be completely disassembled for thorough and quick cleaning.
The "Isen" mill for long pepper varieties was designed by Peugeot for the special requirements of grinding long pepper and voluminous pepper varieties. The large filling opening and generously sized steel grinding mechanism can easily handle elongated or larger pepper grains and grind them to the desired degree of fineness or coarseness.
