By turning the top screw you can adjust the grind size individually: tightening it produces finer salt, while loosening it yields coarser grains. For optimal results it is recommended to use dry salt with a granule size of up to 4 mm. Please note that the mill is not suitable for moist sea salt.

Refilling is very simple: unscrew the mill head, pour in the salt and replace the head. An "S" on the top screw additionally identifies the unit as a salt mill.
