Details
The Prima Matera range from de Buyer is a, if not the absolute highlight! The copper body heats up quickly and evenly and also scores with very good heat retention. Because copper becomes slightly softer at high temperatures and also reacts with food, you will find a thin layer of stainless steel (0.2 mm) on the inside. This robust layer protects the copper and ensures perfect hygiene.
Copper is not magnetic and therefore not suitable for induction cooktops. A magnetic base plate provides a remedy for the Prima Matera range, allowing the cookware to work excellently on induction as well.
The Prima Matera range is available with two handle variants: the classic option with stylish cast-iron handles or the practical option with cast stainless-steel handles, which heat up less.
