Details
Your next culinary masterpiece starts with the de Buyer Prima Matera copper roasting pot. With a diameter of 28 cm and a capacity of 8 liters, it offers plenty of room for generous portions, whether for a festive family meal or a leisurely dinner with friends.
The pot is made of 90% copper and 10% stainless steel, ensuring very good heat conductivity. Copper conducts heat 25 times better than stainless steel and 9 times better than aluminum, so the pot heats up quickly and evenly. This allows for precise cooking and ensures that your dishes cook evenly. The stainless steel interior is abrasion-resistant and scratch-resistant, making cleaning easier and ensuring durability.
A special feature of the Prima Matera series is its ferromagnetic base, which allows it to be used on induction cooktops. This means you can enjoy the very good properties of copper on modern induction cooktops, too. Of course, the pot is also suitable for all other stovetop types.
The ergonomically shaped cast stainless steel handles are double-riveted and become only moderately warm during cooking, allowing you to handle the pot safely. The included stainless steel lid seals the pot tightly and keeps the heat inside.
Whether you want to braise tender beef bourguignon, prepare a rich minestrone, or create a flavorful stew, the de Buyer Prima Matera copper roasting pot makes these dishes effortless. Its very good heat conductivity and high-quality craftsmanship make it an essential companion in your kitchen.
