Details
Medium-sized roasting and cooking pot in a straight shape with a lower height, also known as a roaster. It has a capacity of 3.1 liters, a diameter of 24 cm at the top edge, and a base of 20.5 cm with a height of 6.8 cm. The lower height prevents condensation from evaporating and quickly returns it to the food.
All superlatives apply to the induction-compatible Prima Matera series from de Buyer 1830. The ace up its sleeve is the 2-millimeter thick walls made of 90% pure copper. No other material is as heat-conductive and yet as resistant to deformation at high temperatures.
To prevent a reaction with food, the inner wall is lined with stainless steel. This layer is only for hygiene and makes cleaning easier. There is no impairment of heat conductivity. Please note that copper pots and pans should be cleaned by hand and not in the dishwasher.
Another special feature is the bottom made of magnetic steel. This bottom optimally absorbs the energy from induction fields and transfers the heat directly to the body. The result is heating at an absolute maximum speed.
Two generously sized handle grips made of cast stainless steel are firmly connected to the body with rivets. The handles only slightly heat up, and the safety distance to the body prevents you from accidentally burning your fingers. The proven stainless steel lid with a centrally arranged bulge is also included.
