Es sorgt für ein gleichmäßiges Mahlergebnis und ermöglicht je nach Einstellung sowohl feines Pulversalz als auch eine gröbere, strukturierte Körnung. Über den Knopf auf der Oberseite lässt sich der Mahlgrad präzise regulieren – je fester er angezogen wird, desto feiner wird das Salz gemahlen.
