If you are looking for a versatile pan that is suitable for braising as well as many other cooking methods, the Riess Classic Black Enamel Braising Pan with a 24 cm diameter and glass lid is just right for you. This pan features curved side edges and two practical handle grips that allow for secure handling.

Made of enamelled steel with a chrome rim, the pan is presented in an elegant black enamel design, both inside and out. The included high-domed safety glass lid allows you to keep an eye on the cooking process without letting heat escape.

Thanks to excellent heat conductivity, the pan responds quickly to changes in energy input, giving you precise temperature control. It is heat-resistant up to 450°C, although the manufacturer recommends an operating temperature of 220°C. The pore-free smooth surface is hygienic, tasteless, and resistant to cuts and scratches, which makes cleaning easier and ensures a long service life.

The dark color of the black enamel improves the roasting results even at high temperatures. The combination of fused iron and glass creates the hard, pore-free, scratch- and cut-resistant surface of the Riess Classic Black Enamel products. Every item in the Riess Classic Black Enamel series, such as the braising pan, schnitzel pan, or woodcutter’s pan, is suitable for nickel allergy sufferers because nickel cannot leach through the enameled surface.
