Details

If you are looking for a versatile and precise kitchen knife, the Suncraft Professional Santoku with a blade length of 16.5 cm is an excellent choice. This knife is ideal for preparing meat, fish and vegetables and allows you to cut, chop and rock with ease.

The core of the blade is made from high-quality SG-2 powdered steel, known for its exceptional hardness of 63±1 HRC. This hardness ensures long-lasting sharpness and enables precise cuts. The core is surrounded by two layers of stainless, highly polished steel, which not only provide stability to the blade but also give it an attractive appearance.

The handle of the knife is made from black pakkawood, a composite of 70% birch and 30% resin. This material is not only durable and moisture-resistant but also comfortable to hold. The oval shape of the handle supports ergonomic handling, while the triple rivets with a mosaic pin provide additional stability. The full tang ensures optimal balance of the knife.

The blade is double-bevelled to a 15-degree angle on each side and finely polished, allowing you to make even the finest cuts with precision. The slightly tapered stainless steel bolster contributes to the elegant appearance of the knife and makes cleaning easier.

To ensure the longevity of your Suncraft Professional Santoku, it is recommended to wash the knife by hand and use soft cutting surfaces such as wood or plastic. This will preserve the blade’s sharpness and allow you to enjoy this high-quality kitchen tool for a long time.
