Güde Knife Alpha Olive

Güde Alpha Olive Knives

The knife series Güde Alpha Olive is completely handmade in Germany. All knives in the series have a very good and solid grip due to their own weight. This requires less muscle power when cutting. The range of Güde Alpha Olive knives offers you the suitable knife for every purpose.

The handle made of old olive wood is a real eye-catcher

The handle scales of the Güde Alpha Olive knife series are made of selected olive wood. The olive wood of the handles consists of up to 500-year-old olive wood. The wood species olive wood is generally a very hard wood, which is extremely weather-resistant. The structure is strongly grained and therefore looks particularly noble and elegant. Due to its natural material, the handle is not suitable for dishwashers.

The ice-hardened and hand-forged blade ensures long-lasting sharpness

All Güde Alpha Olive knives have hand-forged blades made from a single piece of chrome-vanadium-molybdenum knife steel. The blades are further processed in over 40 manual work steps at the company's location in Solingen. Each blade of the Güde Alpha Olive knives is rust-free, ice-hardened, and hand-sharpened.

Storage and care of Güde Alpha Olive knives

To ensure that you always have your high-quality Güde Alpha Olive knives at hand quickly and easily, it is recommended to store them in a suitable knife block. This should be solidly crafted and the material of the knife block should match the knives. However, if you are one of those cooks who rarely have space on their kitchen worktop, magnetic strips are a good alternative.

Remember the holy commandments of knife care:

  1. Never leave your knife uncleaned! This is especially true after working with acidic foods such as fruits or vegetables.
  2. Clean your knife immediately after use with a damp cloth!
  3. Never clean your knife with corrosive or abrasive agents!
  4. If your knife has a wooden handle, do not put it in the dishwasher or let it soak in water!
  5. Never store your knife loosely in a drawer! Contact with other knives can damage the blade.
