Details
Your knife deserves the best care to always provide optimal cutting performance. The Güde Alpha Olive D'Artagnan sharpening steel, with a length of 32 cm, is the ideal tool for that. Its rod is made of high-quality chrome-vanadium-molybdenum steel, which is hard-chromed, rustproof and magnetic. The oval cross-section allows efficient and fast sharpening of your knife blades.
A special highlight is the handle made from olive wood up to 500 years old. This wood is characterized by its hardness and weather resistance and gives each sharpening steel an individual touch through its unique grain. The handle is triple-riveted, using two stainless steel rivets and one palm rivet made of aluminum.
An innovative detail is the foldable hand guard at the end of the handle. This allows you to hang the sharpening steel space-savingly and also provides additional safety during use.
Please note that the sharpening steel is not dishwasher-safe. To ensure the longevity of the olive wood handle, it is recommended to care for it regularly with some oil. This keeps your sharpening steel not only functional but also retains its aesthetic beauty.
