KAI Seki Magoroku Red Wood Bread Knife 22.5 cm - Carbon 1K6 Steel Blade - Pakkawood Handle
The Seki Magoroku Red Wood bread knife has a 22.5 cm long blade made of rust-free carbon 1K6 stainless steel with a hardness of approximately 58 HRC. The polished blade features a fine serrated edge that allows for easy cutting of both soft and hard bread.
Traditionally designed in a chestnut shape, the handle is made of Pakkawood. The handle is particularly durable and resistant to liquids due to high-quality resins added to the wood. A black glossy plastic bolster connects the narrow handle to the inserted blade. The lightweight handle creates a beautiful balance with the blade, allowing for effortless cutting.
The Seki Magoroku Red Wood series presents itself in a minimalist form. In combination with Japanese aesthetics, the knives are visually more than appealing. In practice, the knives even exceed the first impression. Another example of famous Japanese knife art.
