Microplane Premium Classic Zester
The Premium Classic series originated from the original Classic series and was adapted to the needs of chefs with its ergonomically shaped handle. The series retained the characteristic wood rasp look and is considered the basis of the great success of Microplane graters.
Razor-sharp through photo-etching manufacturing process
The blades are of absolute top quality and razor-sharp through the photo-etching manufacturing process. In short, the extremely sharp cutting edges are formed with an iron chloride solution through etching. Then the teeth are raised to create a perfect cutting angle. Unlike stamped or double-sided blades, Microplane blades behave like small knives. Food is cut precisely, not torn or crushed, and glides smoothly over the grating surface without sticking to the cutting edges. This allows flavors and tastes to unfold better. For a secure grip during use, each zester has two non-slip rubber feet attached to the blade end. In addition, each Microplane grater comes with a reusable blade guard.
A universal grater with many uses
The Microplane Premium Classic Zester has a versatile range of uses. First and foremost, it is perfect for zesting citrus fruits. When used correctly, you can remove only the peel and leave the white pith intact. The zester can also be used for garlic, ginger, spices, and even Parmesan cheese. The Parmesan shavings are very fine and blend wonderfully with sauces or pasta. If you enjoy making risotto, the zester is the perfect tool for grating Parmesan cheese into it.

The Premium Classic series features a new soft-touch handle that is slip-resistant, making it easy to use even with wet hands.
