Nesmuk Exclusive C150 Damascus Chef's Knife 18 cm - Olive Wood Handle

The blade of this knife is made from 401 layers of hand-forged wild Damascus steel, enclosing a cutting layer of pure carbon steel with a carbon content of 1.5%. This combination ensures an impressive hardness of 64 to 65 HRC and gives the knife exceptional sharpness and edge retention. The double-sided hollow grind reduces the sticking of cut material and allows for precise work.

To protect the blade from corrosion, it has been coated with the Nesmuk Protective Coating (NPC), a special glass-like coating developed in collaboration with the Fraunhofer Institute for Chemical Technology. This coating permanently protects the blade from rust and tarnishing.

The solid, seamless handle made of Southern European olive wood feels comfortable in the hand and gives the knife an elegant appearance. The high-gloss polished stainless steel ferrule completes the design harmoniously.
