Nesmuk Exclusive C150 Damascus Slicer 16 cm - Handle Bog Oak

The blade of this slicer is made from 200 layers of hand-forged Damascus steel, enclosing a cutting layer of the finest carbon steel with a carbon content of 1.5%. This combination ensures an impressive hardness of 64–65 HRC and allows for precise cuts. The double-sided hollow grind reduces resistance when cutting and improves control over the knife.

To protect the blade from corrosion, it has been coated with the Nesmuk Protective Coating (NPC), a special coating developed in collaboration with the Fraunhofer Institute. This glass-like layer preserves the blade from rust and maintains its aesthetic brilliance.

The handle made of bog oak is solid and seamlessly processed, which not only provides an appealing look but also ensures ergonomic handling. The ferrule made of high-gloss polished stainless steel complements the knife's elegant design.

The delivery includes a Nesmuk leather sheath and a leather strop, which serve for the care and storage of the knife. The whole set is presented in a black piano lacquer box that contains a certificate of authenticity.

Please note that the cutting edge of the blade is not coated. Therefore, you should clean the knife with dish soap under running water after use and dry it well to protect the edge from tarnishing or rust.
