Details
Do you want to crush your spices and herbs in a traditional way? The Skeppshult mortar with a diameter of 8 cm is just the right tool for that. Made from solid cast iron, it provides a robust and durable base for your kitchen work.
The mortar has a top edge diameter of 11 cm and a height of 6 cm. Its interior is intentionally roughened to facilitate the crushing and grinding of spices and herbs. The rounded bottom ensures a smooth movement of the pestle and an optimal grinding result.
The included pestle is 9 cm long and can be used on both sides, offering you flexibility in application. Both the mortar and the pestle are made of cast iron and have been pre-seasoned with rapeseed oil to ensure natural corrosion protection.
Weighing 1.2 kg, the mortar stands stable on your work surface and allows for effortless work. Please note that the mortar is not dishwasher safe and should only be cleaned by hand to maintain the quality of the cast iron.
