Made from high-quality cast iron, the base impresses with its robustness and durability. Weighing about 1 kg, it provides a stable stand and prevents the mills from slipping. The black coloring of the cast iron is achieved through triple firing with natural rapeseed oil, which not only gives it an appealing look but also protects the surface.
Caring for the base is straightforward: a hand wash with warm water followed by thorough drying is sufficient. You should avoid dish soap and the dishwasher to maintain the quality of the material.
