Details
If you are looking for a reliable mortar for your kitchen, the Skeppshult cast iron mortar is just the right choice for you. With a diameter of 10 cm at the top and a height of 11 cm, it offers enough space to efficiently crush spices and herbs. The included pestle is 18 cm long and can be used on both sides, giving you flexibility in application.
The inside of the mortar is roughened to achieve optimal grinding results. The rounded bottom ensures a smooth movement of the pestle and makes it easier to crush the ingredients. The mortar is pre-seasoned with rapeseed oil, providing natural corrosion protection and increasing the product's durability.
Please note that acidic ingredients can cause corrosion. Therefore, it is advisable to thoroughly clean the mortar after use and let it dry completely. Avoid using dish soap and cleaning it in the dishwasher to maintain the quality of the cast iron.
