KAI Shun Kagerou
The Shun Kagerou series is a new knife collection within the premium brand Shun. Six elegant models combine high-gloss polished stainless steel with high-quality dual-core Damascus steel, crafted using KAI's innovative Composite Blade Technology.
The blades consist of 70 layers, combining flexible and resilient VG2 steel with extremely hard VG10 steel. This construction ensures exceptional sharpness, long-lasting edge retention, and an effortless cutting experience. The distinctive blade pattern resembles heat shimmer and gives the series its name.
The handles are made from gray-marbled, resin-treated Pakkawood. They feature a symmetrical shape, high durability, and moisture resistance, providing a comfortable and stable grip.
Please note that KAI Shun Kohen knives are not dishwasher safe. Hand washing with warm water and mild dish soap, followed by immediate drying, is recommended to maintain the quality and sharpness of the blades over time.
