There are two things you can do wrong when sharpening your knives with a sharpening stone:
1. using the wrong grit
2. not maintaining the correct angle
With the Global sharpening guide, you can at least check off point 2. The guide is attached to the back of the blade (where the edge is not) and when placed on the sharpening stone, it provides the perfect angle and helps you maintain it during the sharpening process. Yes!
