Details

Your culinary experience begins with the Nesmuk Janus chef's knife, a masterpiece of cutting craftsmanship. With a 24 cm blade made of niobium steel, enhanced by a DLC coating, this knife offers exceptional sharpness and durability. The DLC coating (Diamond-like Carbon) is about three times harder than the steel itself and protects the blade from acids, bases, and extreme temperatures. It also reduces the adhesion of food to the blade, which is particularly advantageous when cutting sticky ingredients such as tomatoes or fish fillets.

The handle made of Karelian curly birch not only feels comfortable in the hand but also gives the knife a unique aesthetic. This wood, known for its distinctive grain, is traditionally used in Scandinavian knives and provides a unmistakable appearance. The ferrule of matte brushed stainless steel seamlessly connects the blade and handle and underscores the high-quality workmanship.

The Nesmuk Janus chef's knife is delivered in a matte black box, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. To maintain the quality and sharpness of the knife in the long term, it is recommended to clean it with lukewarm water after use and dry it immediately. The use of dishwashers should be avoided. The wooden handle benefits from occasional care with a suitable vegetable oil to preserve its beauty and tactile feel.

Whether you prepare meat, fish, or vegetables — this knife glides effortlessly through ingredients and makes every preparation a pleasure. An indispensable tool for anyone who values precision and quality in the kitchen.
