Suncraft Senzo Classic Sashimi Knife 21 cm - Damascus Steel - Pakkawood Handle
If you are looking for a knife that enables precise and fine cuts, the Suncraft Senzo Classic sashimi knife with a blade length of 21 cm is the ideal choice. This knife was specially developed for preparing sashimi and sushi, but is equally well suited for cutting paper-thin slices of ham or meat.
The blade consists of a VG-10 steel core, known for its exceptional sharpness and durability. This core is surrounded by 66 layers of stainless steel in a Damascus-style pattern, which not only provides an impressive appearance but also increases the blade’s stability and flexibility. With a hardness of 61±1 HRC the edge stays sharp for a long time and allows for precise work.
The walnut-colored pakkawood handle feels comfortable in the hand and, thanks to its oval shape, offers ergonomic handling. A red ring between the handle and the stainless steel ferrule gives the knife an elegant design. The pakkawood consists of 70% dyed birch and 30% resin, which makes the handle particularly durable and water-repellent.
Please note that this high-quality slicing knife is not suitable for chopping bones, cartilage, or frozen foods. To preserve the sharpness and quality of the blade, it is recommended to wash the knife by hand and dry it immediately. Using soft cutting surfaces such as wood or plastic also contributes to the knife’s longevity.
