Details
If you are looking for a reliable baking tray for your baking creations, the de Buyer baking tray with sloped edges made of black sheet steel is an excellent choice. With its dimensions of 60 x 40 cm, it offers ample space for a variety of baking projects.
Made from 1.2 mm thick black sheet steel, this baking tray is characterized by even heat distribution, which ensures consistent baking results. The slightly rough surface creates a fine air cushion between the tray and the dough, reducing sticking and contributing to crispy results. The sloped edges make handling easier and allow for simple removal of baked goods.
Thanks to the thermal surface bluing, the tray is temporarily protected against oxidation. It is ideal for baking sponge, puff and shortcrust pastry as well as for many other applications. The tray easily withstands high temperatures while remaining dimensionally stable.
For optimal results, it is recommended to use the baking tray with a baking mat or parchment paper. Alternatively, it can be well greased before use. Please note that this tray is not suitable for preparing cold foods.
