2-piece knife set from the KAI Shun Classic series consisting of:
9 cm blade length office knife (DM-0700) & 15 cm blade length utility knife (DM-0701), both with symmetrical grind. The knife set is delivered securely and beautifully packaged in a magnetic wooden box.

The core of the Shun Classic blade up to the edge consists of extremely hard VG MAX steel and has a hardness of 61 HRC. VG MAX steel is corrosion-resistant and stands for lasting sharpness. The core is wrapped in 32 layers of a Damascus steel composite. This combination makes the blade hard and elastic at the same time and cannot break. Normal use assumed, of course. All Shun Classic blades are symmetrically ground on both sides.

The handle is made of dark Pakka wood in a traditional Japanese chestnut shape. The light edge on the right side is perfectly adapted to the hand geometry and allows for a relaxed and equally secure grip. The knife can be guided precisely without fatigue.

High-quality resins added to the Pakka wood make the handle particularly durable and moisture-resistant. The tang, which runs completely through the handle, ensures stability and balance of the knife. The transition between blade and handle is marked by a stainless steel bolster, as is the end cap at the end of the handle.
