Details
The Shun Classic series from the Japanese manufacturer KAI is, as the name suggests, a true classic. Traditional craftsmanship combined with modern manufacturing techniques. The cutting core made of hard VG-Max steel is surrounded by 32 layers of stainless steel in a Damascus style. This makes the blade both flexible and stable.
Optionally, you can find handles made of dark pakkawood or ash-colored pakkawood in the Shun Classic White collection. Both handle variants are chestnut-shaped with a soft edge on the right. This makes the handles fit perfectly in the hand, especially for right-handers. For left-handers, there are special models where the edge is on the left.
