Global Bunmei Deba 13.5 cm single-edged - Cromova 18 steel - Honoki wood handle
Single-beveled right-hand Deba with 13.5 cm blade length
Deba knives are traditional Japanese filleting knives. The rear part of the blade is used to cut through soft bones and cartilage, while the front part is used for slicing.
The blade is made from Cromova 18 steel with a hardness of 59(±1) HRC. Unlike the regular Global knives, the blades of the Bunmei series are ground finer and therefore appear sharper.
The handle of the Bunmei series is made from honoki wood, a light Japanese magnolia with a fine grain. For this knife the handle is in a chestnut shape. The transition between handle and blade is marked by a plastic ferrule.
Very detailed information and the complete range of this series can be found in our Global Bunmei catalog. The complete range is on our Global brand page.
