Global Bunmei Tako Sashimi Knife 21 cm single-edged - Cromova 18 Steel - Honoki Wood Handle
Single-beveled right-sided Tako with a blade length of 21 cm
The Japanese Tako is very similar in shape and function to the Yanagiba and is mainly used for filleting fish. Unlike the Yanagiba, the Tako has a straight tip.
The blade is made of Cromova 18 steel with a hardness of 59(±1) HRC. Unlike the regular Global knives, the blades of the Bunmei series are ground more finely and therefore appear sharper.
The handle of the Bunmei series is made of Honoki wood, a light Japanese magnolia wood with a fine grain. For this knife the handle is in a chestnut shape. The transition between handle and blade is marked by a ferrule made of plastic.
Detailed information and the complete range of this series can be found in our Global Bunmei Catalog. The complete range is on our Global brand page.
