Symmetrically ground office knife with 9 cm blade length

Office knives are knives with short, pointed blades for delicate tasks such as peeling. In Europe these knives are more commonly known as paring or peeling knives, which usually feature a narrower blade profile.

The blade is made of Cromova 18 steel with a hardness of 59(±1) HRC. Unlike the regular Global knives, the blades of the Bunmei series are ground finer and therefore appear sharper.

The handle of the Bunmei series is made of honoki wood, a light Japanese magnolia wood with a fine grain. On this knife the handle is also shaped symmetrically. The transition between handle and blade is marked by a ferrule made of plastic.
