Global Bunmei Tako Sashimi Knife 27 cm single-edged - Cromova 18 Steel - Honoki Wood Handle
Single-beveled right-handed tako with a blade length of 27 cm
The Japanese tako closely resembles the yanagiba in shape and function and is primarily used for filleting fish. Unlike the yanagiba, the tako has a straight tip.
The blade is made of Cromova 18 steel with a hardness of 59(±1) HRC. Compared to the regular Global knives, the blades of the Bunmei series are ground finer and therefore appear sharper.
The handle of the Bunmei series is made from honoki wood, a light Japanese magnolia wood with a fine grain. On this knife the handle is in a chestnut shape. The transition between handle and blade is marked by a ferrule made of plastic.
Comprehensive information and the complete range of this series can be found in our Global Bunmei catalogue. The complete range is on our Global brand page.
