de Buyer Loqy – the clever cookware series with detachable handles: Three successful collections from the French top brand de Buyer are now available in a new version with detachable handles: „de Buyer Alchimy Loqy“ made of stainless steel multi-layer material, „de Buyer Choc Extreme Loqy“ with non-stick coating, and „de Buyer Mineral B Loqy“ made of iron. The pots and pans of the Loqy variant are equipped with so-called attachment points instead of regular handles, to which the detachable handle can be easily and securely attached. Alternatively, wooden handles can be attached to the stub handles of the Logy series.
This modular system offers many practical advantages: On the stove, only the body of the pot and pan heats up during cooking. Hot handles, which had to be awkwardly handled with pot holders, are a thing of the past. The – cool – handle is only clipped on when the cookware is removed from the stove. The other option: The wide wooden handles are attached to the hot cooking utensils. They insulate perfectly, and pots and pans can be safely transported from the stove to the table. Both versions are a big plus for safety during the cooking process. Some handleless Loqy pans can also be used in the oven without the space-consuming or often not oven-safe handle (please note the maximum temperature suitability of the item).
After cooling, depending on the pot size, remaining leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator and placed back on the stove for reheating, all without time-consuming and dish-intensive transferring. When gently cleaning by hand, the handleless cookware is also better accommodated in the sink. And even the space in the kitchen cabinet is optimally utilized with the de Buyer Loqy collection. No bulky handles that unnecessarily complicate closing the cabinet door or stacking inside each other. Last but not least – the whole concept is also economically and material-savingly designed: One or two handle systems are sufficient for a larger number of Loqy pans and pots.

The Loqy cookware with removable handles can be stored in a space-saving manner in the kitchen cabinet. On the stove, several pots and pans can be arranged side by side, as there are no protruding handles to get in the way.
If you want to remove a pan from the stove: Simply attach the handle with one hand. It clicks into place audibly, indicating the secure locking of the handle. With just a single, variably usable handle, you can switch between several pans.
This removable handle allows the pan to be safely placed in the oven for further braising. Here, the removable handle solution also ensures that the handle does not get hot in the oven.
The two attachable wooden handles made of beech wood also provide safety during transport and quickly transform the pan into an attractive serving dish on the set table.
Logy Handle and Loqy Grips
The Loqy handle is made of cast stainless steel, making it robust, durable, and long-lasting. Its ergonomically curved shape "à la française" offers the typical de Buyer comfortable and balanced handling when using the Loqy cookware. The Logy wooden handle duo is made of beech wood and is equipped with a locking mechanism. A silicone seal and stainless steel rivets ensure a secure and firm fit of the handles. With a slight twisting motion, the wooden handles can be easily removed with one hand.
