Details

Do you want to take your cooking skills to the next level? The de Buyer Alchimy glass lid with a 28 cm diameter and stainless steel knob is the ideal complement to your cookware. This domed lid was specially designed for the Alchimy and Affinity series and fits perfectly on pots, saucepan-style skillets and sautés from these collections. Please note that it is not suitable for frying pans.

Thanks to the transparent safety glass, you can always keep an eye on your food without having to lift the lid. The wide stainless steel rim ensures a secure fit on the cookware, while the screwed stainless steel knob with the de Buyer logo allows comfortable handling. An integrated steam vent also prevents boil-overs.

Whether you are preparing a delicate risotto or gently steaming vegetables — this lid helps you cook dishes evenly and keep them warm. It is also oven-safe up to 250°C, so you can use it for oven dishes as well. After cooking, the lid can be easily cleaned in the dishwasher.

Please note that this lid does not fit pans with a Lyonnaise shape, such as those found in the Mineral B, Choc Resto, Alchimy, Affinity, Inocuivre and Prima Matera series. For these pans, it is advisable to use de Buyer’s special universal lids.
