2 in 1, that is the Buntschneider. But what is a Buntschneider needed for? On one hand, the Buntschneider is a classic vegetable knife with a straight blade. However, with the serrated edges on the back of the blade, you can also cut fruits, vegetables, and butter into wavy strips.
The Kappa Buntschneider has a 9 cm long and almost straight tapering blade made of stainless & hand-sharpened chrome-vanadium-molybdenum knife steel. The hand-sharpened serrations are incorporated into the back of the blade.
Güde knives are hand-forged from a single piece of chrome-vanadium-molybdenum steel, from the tip of the blade to the double bolster. The double bolster, a special feature of Güde knives, acts as a counterweight to the blade. The knife is perfectly balanced. The special mix of the steel and the elaborate manufacturing process with over 30 manual steps give the stainless blades with a hardness of about 58 HRC a special robustness and longevity.
Blade & handle are made from a single piece of steel. The highly hygienic handle with the smoothly polished surface fits optimally and non-slip in the hand. Due to the full metal construction, the knives offer a unique weight distribution and balance.
